After a fun trip to Sixth Avenue with Elijah and Bubby, we got a few shots at Woodland.

O-Dawg came down from Wisconsin with the Alvarez brothers and picked up Bubby and Micah for the Tork Trux mini ramp contest. Micah took 1st in Advanced last night and will be competing in his first pro/am at Get a Grip Skatepark in Tork Trux second stop today. Apparently there is a pretty big crowd and props to the Cosmic youngin's who will represent today.

We had a few milestones this past weekend. Micah had his 100th competition in Athens, OH! He won the expert division and Sean got 3rd in the intermediate!

Afterwards we went to Skateopia and met Brewce who was a real cool guy. The guys skated the Lula bowl, the full pipe and the big wooden bowl.
Then we capped off the weekend with a Cosmic mini ramp jam at Gavin's. Good food, conversation and skating.

The Washington St. Bridge

It was a fun Bluegrass State Games! Micah received silver medals in sponsored bowl and street and gold in sponsored mini ramp.

What a trip! Bubby, Micah and I hit skateparks in Morehead, KY, Charleston, Beckley and Fayetteville, WV, Thomasville, NC and finally Double Decker Skatepark, 50,000 square feet of madness in Fayetteville, NC. In addition to Double Decker, we had a fun mini jam session at the new Atomic mini ramp in Fayetteville as well. We drove all night Sat to make church arriving home at 6:55am. We got lot's of footage and made a bunch of new friends. It was a blast! Here are some pica from Carolina Skateboarding -- scroll towards the middle/bottom. Here is some vid from Double Decker.

Thrash for Cash Update: After taking first place At Wheelbilly's in Ashland and 3rd at Ollies, Micah sat out and judged the Berea contest. All three have been a lot of fun. Danville's comp, with the Emerica Team will be at 6pm June 8th in Danville (Millenium Skatepark). Dry Ridge will be the 11th at 3pm and the finals are on June 21st at Woodland Park. The Alien Workshop team with Silas Baxter-Neal will be at Woodland.

Micah places first in the Mini-Ramp Champ contest at Four Seasons in Milwaukee and the Pipe in Janesville, WI.

This weekend we are headed north for the Miniramp Champ Contest. The first stop is on Friday at Sonco. They have a new mini in the middle of the shop. The second stop is on Sat in Milwaukee at 4 Seasons. The third is on Sunday at The Pipe in Janesville, WI.
