Here's video of Arlington and Greenbelt.

Had a blast at Greenbelt. What a gem of a park! Small, but with a great bowl. Micah was able to get more air then ever on the backside early grab. He finished 1st in the 10 and under and was interviewed by Marcus Ngbea of the Gazette and Star of Greenbelt. The article is also supposed to be in Thurs Metro section of The Washington Post. Everyone had a blast, the atmosphere was great. We'll definitely be back to Greenbelt. We actually met a cool skater named Jake from Bedford, VA -- that's where Micah's other grandparents live. We can't wait to check his miniramp out and road trip to the new Lynchburg Park when it opens later this summer.

Airing over the volcano at Arlington.

Blogging from Grandma and Grandpa Wu's in VA. This video is longer -- about 6 min. It has footage from Louisville Extreme, Riot, Berea King of King's demo, Delhi during the Zero/Mystery Demo, Dry Ridge, Georgetown, Florence, Frankfort, Lawrenceburg IN, Ollie's, Woodland, Rupp, University of KY and our house. We've been busy trying to impressive our gracious sponsors. Expect lot's of comp footage in a few weeks. We continue to look for cool riders to roadtrip with. Thanks to Zeb, David and Preston for trippin' with us in the past weeks.

Here is a video of Preston. He's got some smooth lines and grinds.

Hit 3 states and 5 parks on Friday: Dry Ridge, Florence, Delhi, Lawrenceburg and Ollies -- Saw the Zero/Mystery demo. Chris Cole was effortless. Today we saw the King of Kings demo. They were pretty good. Upcoming comps: Etnies Box Lunch at Ollies the 11th, 14th Mid-Atlantic Skate Series in Arlington, VA and the 15th MASS in Greenbelt, MD. New video and pics are at the PhenOm website -- there's a link in the bar to the right. Micah's new logo is courtesy of Orlando, owner of PhenOm.

New friends of Cabin 25 at Camp Woodward: Jack, Micah, Archer, Anson and Kevin

Micah and I had an amazing time at Woodward. In the advanced mini ramp division he placed 3rd and did well in intermediate street though he did not place. He learned to drop into the vert ramp. And he got tapped (invited to the all-star week)!

Yeah, we wimped out and skipped the Bowling Green skatepark opening. I just didn't see spending the gas money to see Micah knock himself out and rust his bearings in the rain. Well, we went to Ollies instead. Half of Lexington was there. Micah got feeble grind to fakie in the bowl, mini and 6ft mini. He also got 50/50s in the corner of the bowl. We had fun w/Rachel and Joe. Joe learned to carve and Rachel beat a bunch of kids at skate. Here is an article on the BG Skatepark opening at http://bgdailynews.com/articles/2007/04/15/news/news1.txt (cut and paste it into your browser). We are so happpy for Bowling Green and can't wait to come down.

Grandpa Wu, Micah and I went to Fredericksburg, VA to check out the new "Old School Skatepark." It had a cool bowl. Micah liked the mini and the spine. We met a nice young skateboard instructor who does web design named Charles Dagley. Micah had a close game of SKATE with him. His site is http://www.hypnoticproductionz.com/.

We're having fun visiting family and hitting skateparks in VA. Micah skated Wakefield Skatepark yesterday (switch 50/50s!) and we are headed out to Powhattan Springs this morning. Hopefully we will hit Olney Manor, a new park in Olney, MD this week also. We will head up to Novi, Michigan (www.modernskatepark.com) at the end of the week for the Bill Danforth American Nomad Pool Shootout. There will be Pro and Am divisions. Check out Micah's newest video at www.phenomskateboards.com click video then Micah's.

We went up with our friend David Castillos to Ollie's last night for the bands McRad, Smiles and for the Best Trick contest. Micah did well in the bowl with smooth frontside airs, an Indy, lipslide and cool carves. He was the youngest competitor. He received an Honorable Mention. Morgan Burgess ripped up the bowl taking first.

Thanks to Mike and DC Shoes for deciding to flow Micah!
